Please check back here before the festival as we will likely have added to this. Thanks!

Can I bring my pet?
No pets are allowed in the performance area at the festival, but pets are allowed in the campground as long as they aren’t roaming free (ie. they must be on a leash).

Will there be a beverage garden?
There is no beverage garden, and no alcohol permitted in the performance area.

Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! Children of all ages are welcome at the festival and in the campground. In fact, kids under the age of 14 years  are FREE when accompanied by an adult!

Where should I stay?
You can stay right on the festival grounds, it’s the Sooke River Campground. Bring a tent, camper, trailer or RV! You must book the campground separately from your festival tickets (call 250-642-6076). If camping isn’t for you, the Prestige Oceanfront Resort is a 5-10 minute drive from the festival and is our recommended hotel accommodation for you.

Where can I park?
If you are camping on-site, then you park at your campsite. If you are just coming for the day, parking is available at the SEAPARC/Sooke Arena facility on Phillips Road, just a short walk from the festival/campground.

Will there be vendors?
Yes!  There are a variety of food and merchandise vendors on site. The campground kitchen will be open for affordable meals (dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, and Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday between 8am and noon).

Where do I get tickets?
Advance online ticket sales are available now. Tickets will also be available at the gate while the festival is happening.

If you plan on camping, we highly recommend booking in advance, as the campground is usually full during the festival. Camping and festival tickets are booked/purchased separately. Please note that ticket sales at the gate are CASH ONLY and there are no ATMs on site (there are several in Sooke though).

How do I learn to play like that?
Bring your instrument and join one of our workshops on Saturday afternoon! You’ll learn from some of the same folks you see on the stage!

Will there be late night jamming?
Of course – this is a bluegrass festival!  However, please, NO amplified instruments, drums, or music that is not in keeping with the festival theme.  Several large covered areas are available in case of inclement weather.
